This comedy is packed with famous actors, such as Zac Efron, Seth Rogen, Rose Byrne, and Dave Franco. If you want to laugh for two hours non-stop, “Neighbors” is the movie for you.

The highly anticipated sequel to “21 Jump Street” definitely lived up to expectations. Once again, Channing Tatum, Seth Rogen, and Ice Cube caused endless laughter. In this film, Schmidt and Jenko go undercover at a local college. If you enjoyed “21 Jump Street”, I highly recommend watching the sequel.

The adaptation of John Green’s bestselling novel was all teenage girls that could talk about for much of 2014. The film focuses on the complex relationship between Hazel Grace and Gus. Hazel Grace suffers from cancer, and the film captures the couple’s struggles through this disease. Shailene Woodley and Ansel Elgort’s perfect portrayal of John Green’s characters make this movie highly successful. WARNING: Expect to cry for days after watching TFIOS.
The adaptation of the first book in Veronica Roth’s trilogy was a definite home run. In the film, Tris learns that she is “Divergent”, which means that she does not fit into any of the factions in society. With the help of her friend Four and other members of Dauntless, one of the factions, Tris finds a place where she truly feels that she belongs. Divergent is loveable due to the obvious chemistry between Shailene Woodley and Theo James. If you liked the Hunger Games series, you will enjoy Divergent as well.

The third installment of the Hunger Games series only entered theaters on November 21 and the film is already one of the most profitable movies of 2014. People who read the book are able to see how closely the movie followed the book’s plot.

The light-hearted jokes are refreshing and the instant chemistry between the characters is unmatched. The acting truly made it seem like the characters are friends in real life. In this film, Ron Burgundy returns, but this time, to New York, in order to take over the first 24-hour news channel. If you watched the first “Anchorman” movie, this film is a must-see.

This adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ novel is perfect for date night or a girls’ night. In the film, high school sweethearts reunite after 20 years spent apart. Although 20 years seems like a long time, the chemistry between the couple was never lost. Michelle Monaghan and James Marsden are excellent in their respective parts and live up to the Nicholas Sparks brand.

This movie appeals to fans of musicals. In the film, a chance encounter between a newly fired executive producer and a young singer turns into a promising collaboration. Adam Levine is perfect in his film debut, starring alongside Keira Knightley and Mark Ruffalo. If you enjoy music and want a calm, cute movie to watch, “Begin Again” is the movie for you.

The much-anticipated sequel to “Horrible Bosses” causes even more laughter than the original. The star-studded cast of Jennifer Aniston, Jason Bateman, Charlie Day, and Jason Sudeikis is hilarious when all come together. In this film, the boys decided to start their own business, but along the way, there are kidnappings and run-ins with the police. If you saw the first “Horrible Bosses”, you will definitely enjoy the sequel.
