Mr. Peter Gange, the husband of longtime RPS English teacher Mrs. Gange, has joined Rutgers Prep this fall as a new physics teacher.
Before joining the Rutgers Prep faculty, Mr. Gange spent thirty-eight years as a science teacher in Middlesex Borough Public Schools, twenty in the middle school and eighteen in the high school.
Originally a student on the pre-medical school track, Mr. Gange “became addicted” to teaching after covering a friend’s junior high school class as a substitute teacher. Since then, Mr. Gange has not stopped, working in the summers at Princeton and Rutgers with science professors to bring university-level research to high schools.
By spreading math and science in the impoverished region of the world, Mr. Gange hopes to empower them in developing their economies and putting their natural resources to use.
Outside of the classroom, Mr. Gange loves many sports and supports the New York Yankees. But after just one game, his new favorite team is the RPS Girls’ Volleyball team.
Already with ambitious plans for the future, Mr. Gange is very excited as he begins a new journey at Prep.
