Three New TV Shows to Watch This FallOne thing that comes with the changing of the seasons is an abundance of new TV shows. Since there are so many to choose from, why not focus on a few that you should definitely try watching? Here are three new TV series that cannot be missed this Autumn season: This is Us: From the people that brought you movies like Crazy Stupid Love and Tangled, comes This is Us, a show about a group of people born on the same day. It stars Mandy Moore (Rebecca) and Milo Ventimiglia (Jack) as a couple expecting triplets, along with (Kate) as a woman struggling with her weight, Sterling K Brown (Randall) as a successful man trying to meet his biological father, and Justin Hartley (Kevin) as sell-out actor. Even though the premise of the show may seem a little cheesy, the pilot is entertaining, well acted, and serve a heartwarming yet surprising twist that may warrant tears. The show is expected to keep viewers at peak interest while tugging at their heartstrings. New episodes of This is Us air on Tuesday nights at 10pm on NBC. Atlanta: Donald Glover, also known as Childish Gambino, has a new project that is not a rap album, but a comedy-drama TV series called Atlanta. The show is about two cousins who are trying to make their way up the Atlanta rap scene. It stars Glover as Earn Marks, a Princeton drop-out who wants to manage his estranged cousin Alfred ‘Paper Boi’ Miles, played by Brian Tyree Henry, after his song “Paper Boi” becomes a local hit. The show follows the pair as well as supporting characters like Darius (Keith Stanfield) and Vanessa (Zazie Beetz), the mother of Earn’s daughter. Atlanta only runs for only 25 minutes, but it is refreshing, ambitious, and of course well-written with Glover’s eccentric sense of humor present. This show definitely cannot be missed. New episodes of Atlanta air on Tuesday nights at 10pm on FX. All episodes are also available on the FX app. Luke Cage: After a slew of Marvel Netflix originals like Jessica Jones and Daredevil, comes Luke Cage. The show will follow Luke Cage, a wrongly accused man who escapes prison to become a superhero for hire after falling victim to a botched experiment and given super strength and extreme durability. We will see Cage as he tries to defend Harlem from crime. The show was created by Cheo Hodari Coker and Mike Colter will reprise his role after playing Cage in Jessica Jones. Luke Cage is expected to be thrilling and dark like Jessica Jones and will definitely keep viewing at the edge of their seats. Be sure to watch it. All thirteen episodes of Luke Cage begin streaming on Netflix on September 30th.
